Ferry services via DFDS Seaways, Irish Ferries and P&O continue to operate today, while the Brock operation remains in place on the M20. P&O recently restarted its services between Dover and Calais after an ensuing hiatus earlier in the year after nearly 800 of their staff were suddenly sacked.
In recent weeks P&O has resumed service, currently with two ships in service, the Pride of Kent and the Spirit of Britain. The ferry service recently confirmed that it will operate on a revised schedule until May 31.
In their latest Twitter update, P&O said: “We are operating a revised schedule until May 31. If you are traveling and the weather forecast is not convenient, please call to discuss your options.”

Meanwhile, the Operation Brock countercurrent system remains in place on the M20, much to the dismay of motorists. Having been reintroduced earlier in the year to manage the heavy accumulations of freight traffic caused by the reduction of services from the port of Dover, it has recently been confirmed that operation will continue throughout the half-year at to come and the Jubilee holiday.
Here is a list of crossing times from Port of Dover in Calais today (May 27).
