Knights Ferry News 12-8-21 – Head of Oakdale

Last Friday the whole town was dancing to the music of the Knights Ferry Junior High dance! It took place outside on the basketball court in the early evening. They hung Christmas lights and danced in the fog! What a beautiful memory for the college students. It’s nice to hear them enjoy their final years at Knights Ferry School.

The annual Community Club Christmas dinner drew a lot of people. Club turkey and ham were delicious and filling. It was nice to see friends get together during the holiday season. Thank you to the Club members who decorated the room and brought food to share with members of the community!

Last Sunday was the Knights Ferry locals Christmas parade after the Odd Fellows pancake breakfast. This parade is unique because there are often more people in the parade than there are to watch the parade! It was a fun day for friends and family to dress in their vacation clothes and walk down the main drag. It was sunny and the parade was full of smiles.

Carol Davis visited the Duarte Nursey in Hughson and said it was beautiful. There are a variety of poinsettias on display for purchase. Carol bought some speckled poinsettia plants.
