The BNPL ranking sees two applications far ahead of the others

In this month’s edition of PYMNTS’ Ranking of Buy Now, Pay Later app providers, the leaders seem to be saying “Goodbye now, see you later” to the rest of the pack, as they have a 14 point lead over second place.

For the most part, the apps are ranked in the same order as last month. The only exception is a competitor that is now tied to the app that was ahead last time.

Beyond that, a highlight of this month’s edition is a mover and shaker who added four points to his score.

The Top 5

The two returning champions who share the top spot as they did last month are To affirm and Klarna. Each has a score of 100 – a hard score to beat.

Fourteen points behind the second, After-payment. With a score of 86, this app maintains the same position it had last time.

Making a repeat appearance in position #3 is Zipper. With a score four points higher than last time – now at 80 – this app is this month’s biggest mover and shaker.

After another gap in the peloton – 13 points this time – there is the fourth competitor. Paid retains its place in the standings with a score of 67.

There’s a tie at No. 5 with two contenders getting scores of 60. laybuy moved up one spot from last month and now shares that spot with Sezzlewho was here last time.

Top 10

Also earning a position in the leaderboard is FuturePay. This app got a score of 53.

Eleven points behind is the seventh competitor Lazy Paywith a score of 42.

Not far behind is Hmmwith a score of 38. This application has also gained a place in the ranking since the last time.

The next step is brighte. With a score of 19, this application takes 9th place and closes this month’s edition of the ranking of Buy Now, Pay Later application providers.
