The Steamship Authority canceled the last two round trips aboard the M/V Governor on Monday night due to a crew shortage, the ferry service said.
All passengers who had been booked on ferries from Woods Hole to Martha’s Vineyard have been booked, according to a tweet from the Steamship Authority account. Online booking was also “temporarily halted” for off-island travel on Monday, officials said.
For passengers traveling from Martha’s Vineyard to Woods Hole, officials said they “should arrive at the terminal no later than 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time unless otherwise directed by our reservations office so that they can be accommodated on other voyages”.
“Our terminal staff are working to move vehicles to earlier runs to create space for our moved reservations,” the Steamship Authority said. “We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
